If you missed last night's Harold Night I will cry for you later on today and I will collect those tears in a jar labeled "Tears resulting from others' bad decisions." Full disclosure: I collect all my tears in jars that are labeled based on their cause. Some say it's weird, but I say it's a great conversation starter when waiting in line at the bank.
But in case you are one of those poor souls who missed last night's show, here's what you missed (My apologies for the somewhat washed out photos, but my camera had trouble focusing because it was laughing too hard):
Shays' Rebellion started the night off with a fast-paced bang. We saw a treasure hunt honeymoon, some conceited cats and an adorable adult baby raising a baby who warned us "Don't make Baby cut a bitch."
Then Maxitor grabbed the stage and wresteled it to the ground like a puberty-aged teen wrestles its confidence issues. We learned what it would be like to be interrogated by a close-talker, why you would need a 60-pack of condoms at summer camp, and what it means when someone says "You have a very wide sexual space." Then Harold Night was lucky enough to welcome The Opera, a former Harold team from the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in NYC. They put on a hilarious set consisting of a farm being bequeathed to its chickens, a very world-weary 5 year old and what it takes to survive at the gym. We also learned that "Once you go horse, you have no remorse," from an experienced pig. The entire cast of The Opera are now on various other Harold teams at UCB. If you're around NYC on a Tuesday night, check out their Harold Night and I promise you won't be disappointed.Next week we welcome Boot from Western Mass and Shays' Rebellion and On Deck will rock the stage. Be there! Also, if you're going to be around North Carolina next weekend for the NC Comedy and Arts Festival, keep your eyes peeled for sets from Maxitor, Plan B, Marjean and our friends in Neutrino Boston!

Since Maxitor doesn't have a recent performance video that could be used for festival submissions and the like, I was asked to record our most recent show and post it on the internets. You don't say no to Rachel Klein and live to talk about it. Enjoy the video:

In this clip, Harold Night's own Brian Donnelly hosts a quiz show with members of the Chris Gethard Show and he is given an interesting way to let them know if they get a wrong answer. Enjoy!
